This intimate The Merrion Dublin Wedding happened just after the country re-opened last summer. Raquel and Brian had imagined to celebrate their wedding day differently. When Covid happened their plans were turn upside down but they decided to go ahead and get married, even if that meant downsizing their guest list to only 4 guests! Just as what’s happening since the beginning of 2021, only 6 people were allowed at weddings then! Their wedding is proof you can truly have a beautiful and very emotional day with a few of your favourite people. Big doesn’t necessarily means better.
Raquel arrived at the hotel shortly before the ceremony. She had her hair and make up done and could enjoy the amazing bridal suit with her sister-in-law and her best friend. They enjoyed some champagne and music before heading down to the ceremony.
Intimate Wedding Ceremony
At the time of their wedding there were so many restrictions in place in several countries. For this reason, Raquel’s family couldn’t fly from Brazil and his brother couldn’t make it from New York. It was very important to the couple that their family and friends could feel included and watch the ceremony somehow. The amazing Staff at The Merrion went above and beyond, as always, and set up a TV and zoom video call so that their guests could virtually attend.
