Engagement Session in Glendalough

Fabiana & Tomás’ engagement session in Glendalough happened on a beautiful autumn morning. It was cold but fresh and we had an amazing time together in one of the most beautiful places in Wicklow. Also known as ‘the valley of the two lakes’, Glendalough is a very popular spot for engagement photos and photo shoots and it is easy to see why! Nestled in the middle of mountains, the scenery at the lake is breathtaking. It’s one of our favourite places to photograph.

We went at a quiet time of the day and there were not too many people around. Having the place pretty much all to ourselves, we took our time wandering around the lower lake. Fabiana & Tomás were super excited for their wedding day and so were we! We chatted about their plans for their wedding at Hluboká Castle in The Czech Republic.

The engagement session was an opportunity for them to relax, enjoy each other’s company as an engaged couple and get comfortable in front of our lenses before their big day. Check it out:

As a bride I had from my photographers, immense support when I felt nervous in the morning of the wedding. My husband is camera shy and they made us feel like movie stars while having our photos taken at Hluboka Castle. What surprised us the most when we received our photos and album was that there were so many spontaneous photos but that also looked like magazine photos! They’re stunning! Emmylie is a sensible person and together with Richie they transformed the most ordinary moments of your wedding day into beautiful and elegant photographs we will treasure forever!
